i have a client wanting black nail tips like a black french look, but she wants gel, i have purchased some black french tips but not sure if the gel will work and cure properly, ive heared it reflects of white french tips is this the same for any coloured tip? Can you use black nail tips with nsi gel ?? not sure if it will cure properly or if it will lift?
Your only hope of it curing properly would be to ditch the black tips and sculpt the nail instead. Use several, very thin layers of black gel and cure on both sides. When finish filing, simply pay attention to any soft spots in the nail. This would indicate the gel has not fully cured. In that case, stop filing and cure again for two minutes. Then continue to file, just keep your eyes open for soft spots. Black tips with gel will not cure from the underside of the nail. The only way around it is to sculpt the nail, as I mentioned. The same goes for white tips. I suggest not using tips at all. In my opinion, sculpting is the only way to do nails, whether its acrylic, or UV gels. But, that's just me. And many other techs as well...Can you use black nail tips with nsi gel ?? not sure if it will cure properly or if it will lift?
