Acrylic vs gel nail?

Which one is the best? best looking and best for your natural nail? I was a nail biter and my nails are just not growing and look horrible.

If you have been bitting your nails and they are really short id recommend gel, as acyclic add the tip of the nail from where your nail ends, so they would be really short and really unnatural.

acrylic look good though, just not to long or they start to look trashy!
