I recently got UV gel nails, because of all of the bad press from Acrylic/Solar Nails. I am a chronic nail biter and want to stop the habit, and thought using nail enhancements would help. I am concerned that they were not applied correctly. I read that part of the negative issues from Acrylic nails was that the nail was filed down to be thin so that the acrylic would adhere to the nail. The technician did this when applying the UV gel nails. Did they apply the nails incorrectly? Also how should I continue with my nail care to help ween me off of artificial nails into natural nails?Procedures for a Gel Nail?
