10 POINTS FOR WHOEVER ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS AND THOROUGLYYY.QUESTIONS ABOUT GEL NAIL EXTENSIONS!!! 10 POINTSSS.?
i am a nail tech and i think choosing gel is a great choice as it is much better for your nails! although go to a salon that uses bioscupture to ensure your nails are kept as healthy as possible!

your nails can be of any length for gel extensions and it looks exactly the same whether your natural nail is long or short

in england they cost between 拢20 and 拢30 but im not sure how much that is in dollars but aroud $50 to $60 i expect.

you are asked if you want french manicure or just a colour so that is when you specify what you want

yes i know exactly what you are looking for as it is very popular (a line of glitter along the smile line). i put them on for free but it differs in various salons!

hope i helped!

:)QUESTIONS ABOUT GEL NAIL EXTENSIONS!!! 10 POINTSSS.?
1.not at all you can have the shortest nails but if you have extreamly long nails they will trim them a bit

2. they usually cost 28 or 30 depends on which nail store

3.you must ask for them but a white tip may cost extra like 3 or 5 dollars more

4.yes it cost 5 dollars extra to put any sort of designs so at the end of the day you may spend like 35 dollars or with a tip 40 dollars

.but gel is way better than acurtlic so its worth the money
1. Yes, your nails cant be super short, however, besides that your nails can be pretty much any length I believe. I think it looks better on shorter nails. Not when you can see the tips of your nails from the palm, side of you finger.

2. It depends on where you get them done, they vary salon to salon. I would recommend getting a tip, not full size.

3. They are french tipped, but you can get them painted over I believe.

4. It probably does cost slightly extra.
No, and I have been getting them for awhile now, to me they look better short.

a full set cost around 60, or 50,

Gel white tips are just the tip of white but you can get pink and white which looks alot better,

it will cost exttra because your asking for more.

Good luck!
eww!!! don't do gel. that is soo fugly!!!
1- I've never had gel nails but I've had acrylics on and off for 6 years. gel works basically the same way the first time you have it on- they trim your nail down short and then glue a plastic tip on the end of your short nail. then the gel or acrylic goes over that.

2- I would call nail salons in your area and ask about the cost of a full set. I know how much it costs in the east but I have no idea in WA

3- if you want french there's usually an extra charge and yes you have to ask for that. it's just a different type of paint job as opposed to them using polish

4- yes glitter will be an extra charge too, just like if you want an airbrush design on your nails
1.No there is no preferred lenght for gels once u are at the salon they are filed short and the surface is buffes so the gel can settle smoothly! It doest matter what ur nail lenght is once they are on.

2.I cant answer that im writing from ireland a good gel set cost around 55 euro here!!!

Make sur you ask what gel products they use.i dont know brands u use in us but if its a cheap product they go yellowy quicker due to Uv and sun exposure and also start to lift on side which means u will need in fills after 2 weeks..a good set should last up to 3 weeks and a bit more.

3.All gel nails are naturally frenchtipped....the first step is puttind on like a fake nail glued on and is then shortened to ur taste.I usually prefer them sort with a bit thicker with tip...the longer they are the sooner u need infills. also if you are not happy the the lenght of white tip it can be changed with ur next visit!!

4.They is a small fee for the glitter cant answer that for u in us its not much. Its not popular in Ireland the natural look is the cleanest..but everyone has different tastes. Its just a line between the tips and the pink is it??its simple to be done!

If ur getting the gels done soon i advise u to start using nail oil and looking after cuticle then the gels will look even better....

Enjoy them sounds like ur first time just make sure to take a month or 2 break from them a year so ur natural nail has time to regenerate and to avoid fungal in fections which can happen if they are not done correctly and air bubbles appear..

I d go by word of mouth for a good salon and something its better to pay a little extra than have them applied horribly causing u to get whole procedure done again incl soak off!!!

HOP THIS HELPS
You can have any length of nails to get gels done since they start at the cuticle. And when you get them, get them done at a natural length. It looks better than super long!

For a full set it's around $50.

You need to ask for french tips. They do it by gluing on white nail tips to your real nail %26amp; then doing the gels over your nail %26amp; the tip. If you don't ask for them then some places will use a clear tip because they assume you'll want your nails painted a solid color.

And yes, it does cost extra for a design. How much they charge depends entirely on where you're getting them done. Some places charge per nail %26amp; some places will give you a set price for all 10 nails done. Mine usually cost $10 - $15 extra depending on the design.
