Gel nails? what is bad for them that can cause damage or make them fall off?

i just got gel nails last night and I was woundering besides bleach and pinesol what will wreck them?Gel nails? what is bad for them that can cause damage or make them fall off?
who ever done your nails really should have went through all this with you but heres the advise i give my clients:


no biting around the nails, avoid using your nails as tools eg. opening cans of soft drink, no nail varnish remover that has acetone in them only acetone-free polish removers, try not to bad the nails on hard surfaces, watch out when opening car doors as they tend to catch while pulling up the handle, do not pick around the nails, try not to have them submerged in hot water for long periods of time as this can soften them as well making them weaker, wear gloves while gardening, using cleaning products or any other activities that may expose your nails to damage. keep a cuticle oil rubbed in regularly to keep your cuticles healthy and hydrated.
