i want to get nails at the salon, but am afraid that it will damage my natural nailDo ';gel-tipped'; nails damage your natural nail?
Well, if you get tips for three weeks and then take them off - yes the nail under the tip will be damaged. They will be frail, week, and peeling. But they should grow back nicely over the next 2-3 months. all fake nails will. don't do it. my nails have ridges on them and the nail bed was damaged for life.

yeah acrylics do as well im afraid. they cause very little damage if u look after them properly though and get them removed by the salon too.

get them done my nails are good and i always get them done since i was like 17
