the kind you get on at the solon.. freanch tipHow to you get gel nail off?
If you are wearing 'real' gel nails, you would have to file the gel off, then soak the tips in acetone to remove them. Most gels will not soak off in acetone
Or just go to the salon because a qualified tech will know how to file gel and not the natural nail and know when to stop.
Whatever you do, don't let anybody pry them off or force them off your nails. This can cause severe damage to the natural nail plateHow to you get gel nail off?
100% pure acetone. You can usually get it at a Walmart or CVS. If not, a beauty supply store. You have to soak them for a little bit and let it break it down. You will still have to cut away, but it's a lot easier and unsticks from your natural nail.
Soak it in acetone nail polish remover. It takes about half an hour before it starts to turn to gel and come off, but this is the best way to salvage your real nail.
I soaked mine then bit them like a sunflower seed and they cracked in the middle then I peeled them off. IDK if that's what a professional would suggest but it worked for me.
If they're really gels (like LCN) you have to get them filed off- they will not melt like acrylics do in acetone.
Okay- give me a thumbs down- I wish I could watch someone try and soak gel nails off in acetone and laugh at them! Come on- none of you have really had gel nails, have you? Or you would know that you can't flippin soak them off- Idiots.
